Pulse Survey Questions

This Pulse Survey is designed to provide a quick but meaningful measure of overall employee engagement, commitment, and retention risk across an organization. Rather than focusing on a single issue, the questions assess how employees feel about the organization, how connected they are to their work, how willing they are to contribute beyond minimum expectations, and whether they see a future with the company. The survey also gives employees an opportunity to explain what would improve their experience and share feedback in their own words.

Here are the questions in the Pulse Survey:

  1. I am proud of our organization's products and/or services.
  2. I go beyond what is expected to help my coworkers/customers/organization.
  3. Each day I do more than what is expected of me.
  4. Taking everything into consideration, this is a good place to work.
  5. It would take a lot to get me to leave our organization.
  6. How likely is it that you would recommend our organization to a qualified friend or colleague?
  7. Regarding the last question about recommending our organization — if you did not score us a 9 or 10, what would it take to get you to rate us a 9 or 10?
