Skipping a Week for PTO
Learn how to properly skip a wrap-up for PTO days to keep your records accurate and avoid submitting empty reports.
Why skip?
Use Skip Wrap-Up when you were on approved PTO and did not work that day. Skipping keeps your record clean and avoids submitting an empty or inaccurate wrap-up.
Before you start
- Confirm the date you’re skipping aligns to your PTO.
- If you were partially working, complete the wrap-up instead of skipping.
What happens
- The selected day is marked as skipped for you.
- You can return later to complete a wrap-up if needed.
Steps
1) Open the wrap-up for the PTO day
From your Wrap-Ups list, select the date and click Fill Out Wrap-Up.

2) Open the actions menu
In the wrap-up, click Wrap-Up Actions to see available options.

3) Choose Skip Wrap-Up
Select Skip Wrap-Up to mark the day as PTO. Confirm if prompted.

Tips
- Out multiple days? Repeat these steps each time you are on PTO.
- Clicked skip by mistake? Reopen the date and complete the wrap-up.
