Virtual CoffeeTalkFrequently Asked Questions
Why do you limit capacity at Virtual CoffeeTalks?
We limit our Virtual CoffeeTalks to 250 attendees to ensure that the session is manageable for the host and presenters. During a virtual, we receive a flood of questions about both the content itself and any technical challenges that may occur. Q&A is a valuable part of the virtual experience. To be able to address most attendee questions during the presentation and ensure a pleasant experience for all, we must limit it to 250 attendees.
To ensure all members have access to the information presented in the CoffeeTalk, we record the event and make it available for download on our website within two business days of the live event.
Why do you limit it to one attendee per organization?
We want to give as many of our nearly 2,000 member companies as possible the opportunity to attend the live event. We do record all of our Virtual Coffeetalks and make them available for download on our website within two business days. There is no limit on who can download the recording.
Why don’t you schedule an additional virtual when the initial one fills up?
Since our Virtual CoffeeTalks are recorded, the content lives on and in a format that can be accessed by members when and where they need it. Members continue to have access to the recording for as long as the information presented remains up-to-date and a relevant resource. The member Q&A portion of the presentation typically covers the most common questions members have about the information presented. If not, Members can also call the HR Hotline at any time with specific questions about the information covered in the CoffeeTalk presentation.
Face to Face events include our CoffeeTalks and Annual Workplace Performance Symposiums. CoffeeTalks will be held at our Seattle and Spokane offices each January and November and will focus on Strategic HR, Organizational or Leadership Development.
