Number of Seats Available: 83The Enduring Impact of the National Labor Relations Act on Non-union Employers
The National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) governs private-sector unionized and non-unionized workplaces. This presentation provides employers with an overview of the NLRA and recent decisions by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and General Counsel guidance memos. This discussion covers employee concerted activities, wearing union logos at work, handbook policies, investigation confidentiality, organizing rules, make whole remedies, and worker classification. These changes demonstrate increasing NLRB scrutiny and enforcement over non-union employers and their interactions with employees.
