Supervisors play a key role in supporting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, helping reduce organizational risk, improve employee retention, and foster environments where people can thrive.
This workshop equips leaders with the knowledge and tools to create accessible workplaces and confidently navigate disability-related situations. Participants will learn how to identify and reduce workplace barriers, foster psychological safety and belonging, and confidently navigate disability disclosures and the reasonable accommodation process in partnership with HR. Through discussions, activities, and real-world scenarios, leaders will gain actionable strategies to strengthen inclusion and accessibility across their teams.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify workplace barriers that may impact employees with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
- Respond appropriately to disability-related disclosures.
- Manage employee performance and reasonable accommodations in partnership with HR.
- Utilize accessibility tools and inclusive communication practices to proactively reduce workplace barriers.

- If you wish to cancel OR reschedule your registration and you provide at least 2 business days' notice, a $100 change fee will now apply. All payments in excess of $100 will be refunded. If the registration fee is less than $100, there will be no refund issued.
- Cancelations requested with less than 2 business days' notice are non-refundable.
- An organization is permitted to send a different individual in place of someone else and not incur the $100 fee, however some exceptions apply.
