Supervisors and managers are expected to lead effective teams while complying with complex employment laws. This balancing act requires not only a working knowledge of legal basics but also the ability to consistently apply them in real workplace situations. The course will assist supervisors and managers in responding appropriately to employee issues related to: pre-employment inquiries, leaves of absence, wage and hour law, discrimination and harassment, and progressive discipline.

  • Comply with state wage and hour law, ensuring that employees are paid properly
  • Work with HR to manage employee leaves and accommodations
  • Effectively respond to complaints of harassment and discrimination

Cancelation Policy: 

  • If you wish to cancel OR reschedule your registration and you provide at least 2 business days' notice, a $100 change fee will now apply. All payments in excess of $100 will be refunded. If the registration fee is less than $100, there will be no refund issued.
  • Cancelations requested with less than 2 business days' notice are non-refundable.
  • An organization is permitted to send a different individual in place of someone else and not incur the $100 fee, however some exceptions apply.
