WEBINAR: HR’s Essential Role in Grief and Trauma | 10/22
Virtual Class
Number of Seats Available: 500Human resources leaders are often on the front line when grief and trauma enter the workplace, yet most organizations lack a clear plan to guide them. The cost of being unprepared is high, affecting employee morale, productivity, retention, and even the financial stability of the business. When an employee dies unexpectedly or a traumatic event occurs, HR professionals are called upon to support both individuals and teams while maintaining organizational stability.
This webinar equips HR leaders with practical strategies to address grief and trauma in the workplace and prepare their organizations for the unexpected. Participants will examine how loss affects employees, teams, and overall business operations, and learn how HR can guide managers and staff through the immediate aftermath of a crisis. The session highlights HR’s central role in crisis response, underscores the value of proactive planning over reactive decision-making, and introduces a five-step planning model designed to strengthen organizational resilience and readiness.
Participants will be able to:
- Recognize how grief and trauma impact employee and business well-being
- Define key steps in crisis support from an HR perspective
- Explain the five-step proactive planning process to build resilience
- Distinguish proactive planning from reactive crisis response
