Strategies to Combat Microaggressions | 1/14
Virtual Class
Number of Seats Available: 25Have you ever witnessed or experienced a microaggression in the workplace but didn’t know how to respond? “Micro” might mean small, but the impact of microaggressions can be significant.
In this interactive course, participants will learn how words, gestures, and actions can be perceived as subtle acts of exclusion, regardless of intent. To counter microaggressions, it’s important to promote intentional inclusion. This course will help participants build awareness, empathy, and strengthen communication skills that foster inclusivity, reduce harm, and strengthen trust.
Note that Archbright's training content adheres to federal, state, and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based on protected status, including EEOC Guidance “What You Should Know about DEI-Related Discrimination at Work” issued March 20, 2025. The Executive Orders issued by the Trump Administration in January 2025 do not make DEI training in the workplace illegal or change the law on employment discrimination. Employment decisions based on a protected characteristic, whether part of a DEI strategy effort or otherwise, have always been illegal.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
