Regular training in harassment prevention not only mitigates employers’ legal risk, but it has a larger role to play in workplace culture and employee engagement. It’s an opportunity to foster a respectful, inclusive, and psychologically safe environment for all.

This enhanced course explores how to respond effectively to discrimination and harassment while maintaining a supportive and accountable workplace culture. This includes the role of concepts such as unconscious bias, which can impact leaders’ decision-making and response to wrongful behavior.

Regular training in harassment prevention does more than reduce legal risk—it helps build a workplace where people feel safe, respected, and supported. When handled well, this kind of training strengthens culture, builds trust, and shows a clear commitment to accountability.

This course focuses on how to recognize, respond to, and prevent harassment and discrimination in real-world situations. In addition to the standard legal requirements of this type of training, this “enhanced” course also covers how issues like unconscious bias and microaggressions. The goal is to help create a work environment where concerns are taken seriously and respect is the standard.

Workplace harassment not only poses serious legal risks for organizations but also undermines trust, morale, and productivity. Employees thrive in environments where they feel respected, included, and psychologically safe. This enhanced training helps participants see beyond the minimum legal requirements by connecting compliance to the broader goal of building inclusive, respectful workplaces that protect both people and culture.

Through this training, participants will gain a clear understanding of harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct, while also learning strategies to foster psychological safety and inclusion. The training blends legal definitions and responsibilities with practical tools for recognizing the negative effects of wrongful behavior, responding effectively to incidents, and contributing to a culture of respect. By addressing both the “must-do” aspects of compliance and the “should-do” actions that promote inclusion, participants leave equipped to prevent, address, and correct inappropriate conduct while actively contributing to a workplace where everyone feels valued.

After completing this course, employees will be able to:

  • Cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace.
  • Define harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct
  • Identify the negative effects of wrongful behavior.
  • Effectively respond to incidents of harassment and wrongful behavior
  • Do their part in preventing, addressing, and correcting wrongful behavior in the workplace

After completing this course, supervisors and managers will be able to:

  • Know what to do when they receive a complaint of harassment
  • Respond to allegations with empathy and respect
  • Explain the primary role of a supervisor during a harassment investigation
  • List examples of supervisory behaviors that promote a safe and harmonious workplace environment
