Course Description

Effective training isn’t just about knowing the material; it’s about knowing how to teach it in a way people can remember and apply on the job. Whether you're showing someone how to assemble a product, operate equipment, or complete a step-by-step process, your approach as a trainer can make or break learning outcomes.

In this class, participants will learn and practice using a standardized approach to building training on any subject—from technical manufacturing to new hire onboarding. Regardless of previous experience as a trainer, the concepts covered in this class will help anyone create and conduct training that is both memorable and effective.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Plan a training event using a standardized approach
  • Identify the vital information needed for each audience
  • Increase learner retention of information and skills provided during the training
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the training
