We will assign an investigator and they'll get to work right away. (Often within 24 hours!) They will conduct in-person or virtual interviews, review materials, and create a report on their findings.

The investigator delivers a final report outlining their findings and recommendations. With guidance from Workplace Law Group and Archbright experts, you'll be equipped to take the appropriate next steps.

How Do You Know If You Need An Investigation?

Many HR Leaders are well-versed in conducting workplace investigations, but sometimes it becomes necessary to have an independent, third-party investigator. Three indicators that you need to involve an attorney are:

  1. If there is a potential conflict of interest. Maybe the complaint is against the HR leader or high-level leadership that would put your internal HR investigator in a compromising position.
  2. If there is significant legal exposure. If the allegations relate to a protected class or are particularly sensitive it's best to involve an attorney early in the investigation.
  3. If your team does not have the capacity to handle the investigation promptly. Investigations need to be addressed in a timely manner and Archbright can often have an investigator assigned and starting within a day or two.
