Course Description

Prioritizing accessibility is good for business. At a basic level, it reduces legal risk and builds a positive reputation for organizations. Taken further, it’s an opportunity to improve the employee experience at every stage. When accessibility is top of mind, it widens the talent pool, reduces barriers to employee engagement, and builds better, more inclusive products.

In this course, participants will learn about the history and social movements that helped shape disability rights, with a focus on the Americans with Disabilities Act. Through group discussions and activities, they will explore practical strategies for creating a more inclusive workplace for people with disabilities.

Archbright's training content adheres to federal, state, and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based on protected status

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize the history of disability rights in the United States, including the Americans with Disabilities Act
