Course Description

Research shows that organizations with high diversity levels are 35% more likely to outperform their competitors in profitability. This underlines the value of a diverse workforce that drives innovation and sound decision-making. Introduction to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is designed to help employees understand the foundations of DEI and the importance of fostering an inclusive workplace.

Participants will explore how diversity reflects employees’ wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. They will identify equity’s role in ensuring fair treatment and opportunity for all and inclusion’s ability to foster an environment where everyone feels valued. By implementing inclusive strategies aligned with legal requirements, employees contribute to creating a more harmonious, high-performing workplace.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
  • Identify DEI’s importance in the workplace, including how it drives business success
  • Apply inclusive strategies in the workplace while complying with laws
    prohibiting discrimination
