Workplace Harassment Awareness: Inclusion in Action

Course Description

Workplace harassment not only poses serious legal risks for organizations but also undermines trust, morale, and productivity. Employees thrive in environments where they feel respected, included, and psychologically safe. This enhanced training helps participants see beyond the minimum legal requirements by connecting compliance to the broader goal of building inclusive, respectful workplaces that protect both people and culture.

Through this training, participants will gain a clear understanding of harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct. The training combines legal definitions and responsibilities with practical tools for recognizing the negative effects of wrongful behavior, responding effectively to incidents, and contributing to a culture of respect. By addressing both the “must-do” aspects of compliance and the “should-do” actions that promote inclusion, participants leave equipped to prevent, address, and correct inappropriate conduct while actively contributing to a workplace where everyone feels valued.

After completing this course, employees will be able to:

  • Cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace.
  • Define harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct
  • Identify the negative effects of wrongful behavior.
  • Effectively respond to incidents of harassment and wrongful behavior
  • Do their part in preventing, addressing, and correcting wrongful behavior in the workplace

In addition to the above, after completing this course, supervisors and managers will be able to:

  • Know what to do when they receive a complaint of harassment
  • Respond to allegations with empathy and respect
  • Explain the primary role of a supervisor during a harassment investigation
  • List examples of supervisory behaviors that promote a safe and harmonious workplace environment
